I had a fantastic stay at Fair Hotel Monchengladbach City. The location was perfect, right at the bottom of the main shopping street. The room was modern and spotlessly clean, with lovely furniture and a well thought out bathroom. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, even coming over late in the evening to help us with a room key issue. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options and personalized service. Despite being near a busy railway and bus station, the hotel was very quiet at night. I highly recommend this hotel for its value for money and great service.

Hotel in good location opposite main train station. Situated on main shopping street and ten to fifteen minute walk to old town where bars are located. Room was clean and appeared to be newly updated and decorated.

No air conditioning in room however windows opened fully and this helped to keep room cool.

The hotel is well-located for shopping and transportation, with plenty of shops and a train station nearby. The rooms are modern, with comfortable beds and well-designed bathrooms. The staff is helpful and friendly, even providing a breakfast with eggs cooked to your liking. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi and fans to combat the warm weather.

The lack of a lift can be inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage.

I liked an option to come in to the hotel when I needed. Becasue an each guest is given by a main entrace key.

Located right in the heart of the city, this hotel proved to be a convenient choice for my xmas shopping needs. I loved the cozy room interiors and the friendly staff, who went out of their way to make me feel at home. The best part was the delicious breakfast spread, which included fresh fruits and a variety of cheeses.

The absence of a lift was a bit of a hassle while carrying my shopping bags up to the room. , I found the curtains slightly flimsy, which resulted in some light seeping in and interrupting my sleep.

Fair Hotel Munchebgladbach is very near to railway station (hbf) and main bus terminal , we can also easily walk around hinderburgstr for shoping or bistro

The hotel has no lift (elevator) , it is not comfortable if we stay in 3rd or higher floors

My second time at the Fair Hotel this year. Great value for money in this very clean and modern hotel. Rooms are fairly basic but all you need for a city break. The hotel is 2 minute walk from the main station and idealy situated for the shops, bars and restaurants. The breakfast is also good value for money.

Not really a dislike but the rooms at the front of the hotel can be a bit noisy.

Located next to the train station, this hotel was a great find for my business trip. I loved the spotless room, with all the fixtures looking brand new. The bakery next door was also a great addition, providing an easy breakfast option. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making my stay very pleasant.

The lack of an elevator made it a challenge to carry my bags up the stairs to my room, but it was manageable. Another minor concern was the noise level from the nearby station, but it wasn't too disruptive.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. I also appreciate the free internet access.

It was a pity that there was no mini bar in the room. Especially since I arrived late (22.30) there was nothing to eat and only water to drink.

It was basic, no-frills, but gave me a comfortable bed, clean room, private bathroom, reasonable breakfast at very reasonable price. Staff were friendly and helpful (as always in Germany)

Although there was a price list for drinks, they were unobtainable

I had an amazing stay in this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful when I needed assistance with my luggage. The room was spacious and modern, with comfortable beds and excellent isolation from outside noise. The location was perfect, with lots of shops and life around, and it was close to the station for easy transportation. The breakfast was hearty and delicious, with a range of quality food items. All these aspects made my stay here unforgettable.

We were very impressed with the hotel cleanliness and the location was perfect for us.

There was only 1 channel on the tv also no information pack detailing telephone charges and breakfast charges in rooms. Minimal tea & coffee in rooms alway welcome.
